The Health Directorate of the Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly (AbWMA) has officially launched this year’s Child Health Promotion Week under the theme “Every Child Deserves a Future — Invest in Your Child. Attend Weighing Regularly.”

The initiative emphasizes the importance of regular child welfare clinic visits, particularly growth monitoring and immunization, as essential steps in safeguarding the health and development of children.

During the launch event, health officials called on parents and caregivers to take child health services seriously by attending regular weighing sessions and ensuring their children receive all necessary vaccines and nutritional support.
