Hon. Samuel Ashiagbor Elected Presiding Member; Five Government Appointees Sworn In

The Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly has successfully conducted the election and swearing-in ceremony of its Presiding Member, along with the official induction of five government appointees.

Hon. Samuel Ashiagbor was duly elected by members of the Assembly as the new Presiding Member. The election was conducted in accordance with established local government procedures and was followed by a brief but significant swearing-in ceremony. Hon. Ashiagbor expressed his appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to lead the Assembly with transparency, unity, and a strong commitment to development.

In addition to the Presiding Member, five newly appointed government representatives were also sworn in as members of the Assembly. Their inclusion brings new perspectives and added strength to the Assembly’s governance structure.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Assembly Members, and invited dignitaries witnessed the ceremony, which marked an important step toward enhancing local governance and deepening collaboration among key stakeholders in the municipality.

With the new leadership and appointees in place, the Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly is expected to continue working diligently to address the needs of residents and promote development across the municipality.
