The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly recently held an engagement with head teachers within the municipality. The meeting was aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges they face in the discharge of their duties as educators.
During the interaction, the MCE emphasized the Assembly’s commitment to supporting education and recognized the vital role teachers play in shaping the future of the community. The head teachers had the opportunity to openly share the difficulties they encounter in their schools, including issues related to infrastructure, teaching and learning materials, and student welfare.
The engagement created a platform for mutual understanding and opened the way for possible interventions to improve conditions in the educational sector. The MCE assured the head teachers that their concerns would be taken into consideration in the Assembly’s planning and decision-making processes.
This initiative forms part of ongoing efforts by the Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly to strengthen collaboration with key stakeholders in education and enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the municipality.
