MCE’S ENGAGEMENT WITH SOME BUSINESSES WITHIN THE ABLEKUMA WEST COMMUNITY

Ablekuma West MCE Embarks on Field Inspection to Clear Encroached Drains and Engage Businesses

The Municipal Chief Executive for Ablekuma West has undertaken a field visit to inspect businesses that have blocked drains, constructed on gutters, or restricted water flow within the municipality. The MCE also used the exercise to check business operating permits and ensure compliance.

As part of efforts to secure partnerships for the Dansoman Roundabout beautification project, he engaged several businesses along the corridor to discuss possible collaboration.

Shops built on gutters were cautioned and marked for relocation to allow free access for drainage maintenance and to prevent flooding. The MCE was accompanied by key departmental heads from the Municipal Assembly during the operation.
