Sanitation: The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. George Kpakpo Allotey, emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and adhering to sanitation laws. He announced the return of the Environmental Health Officer, who will issue notices and fines to individuals violating sanitation regulations.
Road Encroachments: The MCE warned that vehicles encroaching on roads will be towed, and owners will be charged with the cost of towing and a penalty, effective October 13, 2025.
Drainage Issues: The MCE directed the Physical Planning Officer and Urban Roads Officer to address drainage concerns in the Opetekwei community, highlighting the importance of infrastructure maintenance.
