The Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with the Honourable Member of Parliament (MP), held a productive stakeholder engagement with residents of Glefe along the coastal belt. In response, the Honourable MP reaffirmed his commitment to championing coastal protection interventions and collaborating with relevant state agencies to address erosion along the shoreline. He emphasized the importance of collective responsibility and community partnership in achieving sustainable development. The Municipal Chief Executive assured residents that the Assembly is prioritizing sanitation improvement, enhancing waste management services, and integrating drainage and road infrastructure upgrades into the municipality’s development plans. Youth empowerment and skills development initiatives were also highlighted as key focus areas to boost employment and economic growth. The engagement reflects the Assembly’s dedication to participatory governance and responsive leadership aimed at improving the quality of life for residents of Glefe and the broader Ablekuma West Municipality.
