
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ablekuma West, Hon. George E. Kpakpo Allotey, led a delegation of key officials on an inspection visit to assess the recent delivery and stock of NkokÉ” Nkitinkiti birds received by the Assembly. The team included the Coordinating Director, Municipal Finance Officer, Auditor, Physical Planning Director, and the Agric Director.
The inspection focused on verifying the quantity received, allocation arrangements, and the condition of the birds. In total, 10,000 birds were delivered to the Assembly. Although a few mortalities were recorded during transportation, officials confirmed that the majority are in good health and responding well to care.
The visit formed part of efforts to ensure proper monitoring and accountability before distribution. The birds are expected to be distributed soon to selected homes and farms, in line with the vision of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama to support livelihoods and strengthen local agricultural production.
Officials expressed satisfaction with the current condition of the stock and indicated that preparations are underway to commence distribution in due course.
