Hon. Rev. Dr. Kweku Addo is an entrepreneur and ordained minister serving as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ablekuma West Constituency in Accra, Ghana. He is a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Born on the 23rd of August 1967.

Education

  • Basic Education: South Labadi Estate Experimental School and St. Anthony’s Preparatory School in Lartebiokoshie, Accra.
  • Secondary Education: Suhum Secondary Technical School, where he studied science and woodwork.
  • Tertiary & Further Studies: Kumasi Institute of Tropical Agriculture (KITA). He later earned a Doctorate in Moral Philosophy from the International Ministerial Bible Training College (affiliated with Elohim Theological University, USA).

Professional & Corporate Career

International Experience: Migrated to Germany in 1989 and later moved to the United States. While in the US, he trained and gained professional experience in banking, public speaking, communications, nursing, and real estate. He trained at institutions like the Dale Carnegie Institute and the Long & Foster Real Estate Training Institute.

  • Entrepreneurship in Ghana: Upon returning to Ghana, he founded Igloo Real Estate Limited, a general practice real estate brokerage. He also serves as the Director of the Oddarene Christian School, a reputable basic school in Accra.
  • Ministry: He served as a Lay Minister for over a decade at Lighthouse Chapel International Ministry. Pastoral Work: He later became an Associate Pastor for the Hour of Solutions International Ministry, preaching across Accra with a core focus on church growth and ethical leadership. His vision is for Ablekuma West centers on building an inclusive, participatory, and transparent governance model that fosters equal opportunities, community well-being, and grassroots development
