The event, held in accordance with national planning guidelines, brought together a wide range of stakeholders to validate the draft development plan and ensure its alignment with local needs and national goals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aff98a0 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"aff98a0\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4bd6d9e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4bd6d9e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In line with the National Medium Term Development Framework and broader national and global development agendas, all Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) are required to prepare a comprehensive four-year development plan. A key component of this process is the organization of a public hearing to present and validate the needs assessment and strategic inputs captured in the draft document.<\/p><p>The Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly\u2019s public hearing was well attended and highly participatory. Present were Assembly Members, traditional leaders, Unit Committee members, representatives from residents&#8217; associations, the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), persons with disabilities (PWDs), business groups, religious bodies, farmers\u2019 associations, women\u2019s groups, and market representatives.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-14e9769 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"14e9769\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9243db9 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"9243db9\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e4d5f19 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e4d5f19\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The purpose of the hearing was to verify the accuracy and inclusiveness of the draft plan, make necessary corrections where applicable, and collectively adopt it as a guiding document for the development of the municipality over the next four years.
