ABLEKUMA WEST- NYA SECRETARIAT ORGANIZES SKILL TRAINING FOR FORTY
The National Youth Authority (NYA) as a statutory body is mandated for the overall empowerment and development of youth in the country. The Authority in achieving its mission, designs and implements programs to develop youth in the country based on their challenges and needs. One. Of the challenges facing the youth in the country currently is lack of Market driven skills resulting in unemployment.
The NYA in addressing this problem Omer the years focused on providing technical and vocational skills training to the youth to provide them with employable skills beyond their formal education.
In line with this the Ablekuma West - National Youth Authority Secretariat on Friday, 23rd October 2020 carried out a one-day skill training on how to make FASCINOR, HATINATOR and BRIDAL FAN for forty (40) young female across the ten electoral area in the municipal.
The training for unemployed young females is an opportunity to launch them into a career. It is therefore expected that beneficiaries will have an edge into the job market as well as giving them great sense of personal satisfaction.
