MCE HANDS OVER MOTOR CYCLES TO SSNIT POLICE STATION.
The Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly handed over 3 motor cycles to the Police at the SSNIT Police station on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at the Assembly’s forecourt in the presence of the MCD; Mr. Samuel Amoah, the Divisional Commander, ACP Victoria Yamoah, District Commander DSP John Akrofi, Police Personnels from the SSNIT Police Station, Staff of the Assembly.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. George Cyril Bray presented the motor cycles to the Divisional commander; ACP Victoria Yamoah as part of the Assembly’s quota in aiding the newly commissioned Police station operate smoothly, effectively and efficiently in the Municipality. He stressed that, 3 years ago, the Assembly presented some of the motor cycles to the police stations in the Municipality hence, the presentation was to augment the already existing motor cycles.
The Divisional Commander, ACP Victoria Yamoah thanked the MCE on behalf of the inspector General of Police, the Police Administration, Regional Police Command and the District Police Commander. She acknowledged the efforts of the Assembly and pledged to ensure the bikes are used for the intended purpose.
“I pledge that, the Motor Cycles are going to be put into good use, so that, the purpose for which it has been given will be achieved”.
ACP Victoria Yamoah stated that, the security is a shared responsibility thus grateful to the role of the Assembly in that regard. She stressed that; maintenance was very vital hence would be adhered effectively.
