The 4th edition of the Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly’s annual December carnival took off this year with 3 days activities and fun at the Theresa Amerley Tagoe Roundabout.

An ultra-modern Police Station was inaugurated at Dansoman, SSNIT FLATS. The police station became operational on Monday, 12th December, 2022 to deal with the issue of crime and other security related matters.
The Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly under the leadership of the Chief Executive, Hon. George Cyril Bray on Saturday, July 30, 2022 organised two community engagement meetings at Glefe and Akokorfoto.
The Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly Townhall and Public Financial Management meeting was held at the Bread of Life Methodist Church at Dansoman Exhibition on Tuesday 26th July, 2022. The program commenced exactly 10:58am with an opening prayer.
Youth Alliance for Community Change, a youth-led community-based association with sponsorship from the National Youth Authority has organized a satellite installation training for youths in Ablekuma West. The training which was climaxed on the 30th July 2021 took place at the Ablekuma West Municipal Assembly premises.
In order to ensure a coordinated approach to the development and management of the district, it is required by the Local Government Act, 2016, Act 936, Section 81(1), that the Department of a District Assembly collaborate and work with non-decentralized departments, state-owned enterprises, and public corporations operating in the district.
